The Association of Free Thinkers

I thought I would just spend a few minutes here and tell you a little bit about another project that I started.

I decided to start a newsletter.  It's called Like Minds and I intend to start it off with a study of Napoleon Hills great work entitled Think and Grow Rich.  It will be sent out every two weeks and will have useful links for my readers pleasure.

Just kind of taking it easy today.  I wanted to insert something of importance though.  The universe is made up entirely of only two elements...Matter and Energy.  You do realise of course that your mind is made up of matter and energy.  Your thoughts can be realized in short fashion when you follow rules of the universe.  A quote from the bible...As a man thinketh in his heart so is he.  You are a product of your thoughts...Think about it...Roy

1. A wish or longing.
2. A request or petition.
3. The object of longing: My greatest desire is to go back home.  

You must first have a desire.  Then then place that desire firmly in your mind.  Then take action.  You can't steer a parked car.

Good day all.  It's 25th June, 2008. 

Todays title, stinkin thinkin, is intended to let you know that it's pretty common for most of us to have our minds cluttered up with alot of misinformation and alot of negativity.  It's a pretty negatitive world when you stop and think about it and we have negativity coming to us through our eyes, ears, and generally it pervades our lives.

We don't have to have that stinkin thinkin if we just open our minds to good thoughts, inspirational words, organized and structured input to develop our minds.  We need some specialized knowledge feeding our subconcious self in order to progress in a positive manner.

Today I would like you to ponder the word "persistance".  An atribute of persistance is being able to withstand the pressures that are put upon you.  Those pressures come at all of us in our daily lives , but if we are persistant in our efforts to improve our thinking we can withstand them.  It's a state of mind and you have control over that.  It's been said that persistance is a state of mind that can be cultivated like farm land.

 I challenge you today to put a desire in your heart to begin to listen to or read Napoleon Hills  wonderful book, Think and Grow Rich.  Cultivate your mind, get rid of some stinkin thinkin, and take control of your life.

Since we are on the internet and have this great tool to network with I thought I would title my blog The Association of Free Thinkers. 

To bring you up on my free thinking I will tell you now that I am into internet marketing, social networking, humor and assorted other pursuits.  First off I had to believe I had the power to think and then attempt to decide what I wanted to think on.  I decided that what I needed to do in internet marketing was to gain the knowledge of what it takes to plan and start a business. 

Too much of the time people have bought into one plan or another with great expectations as to how they could benefit from them only to become disappointed in their failures and drop out with a bad taste in their mouths for internet marketing.  They may not realize it, but their failure was an opportunity to take a close look at why it failed and decide to take action to correct the faults and pursue their dreams. 

You see you must have a dream, you must pursue that dream, and be willing to invest your time, energy, and money to make any business work.  Right now I am investing my time, energy and money into learning lessons from a great book entitled Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill.  I am involved with a group of like minded individuals who have studied and continue to study that work and some other works of good report.
